Company History
ACCEL was founded in 1991 by five seasoned technical
professionals with extensive experience in the IT industry.
The vision of the founders and ACCEL's highly skilled
workforce have established the company as a world class
IT organization. The ACCEL group today employs over
2300 professionals worldwide, with offices in India,
Middle East, Japan, Far East and USA.
ACCEL BPO was founded in 2004 with the merger of three
companies providing outsourced services to the US Healthcare
industry. The merger resulted in a focused organization
with offshore production centers in India and sales
and support functions in the US. ACCEL leverages its
technology infrastructure and lower labor cost of its
production centers in India to deliver immediate cost
savings to its clients in the in the US Healthcare market.
ACCEL BPO's production centers are located in Chennai
and Banglore in India, with sales and service office
in Atlanta, Georgia.
Strategic Vision
ACCEL BPO's strategic direction is
to provide a full range of services addressing the back
office functions of insurance claims processing. The
services would range from Enrollment, Claims Processing,
Re-pricing, Adjudication and Customer Care help desk.
ACCEL currently offers data capture services for HCFA-1500
and UB-92 forms and data entry and adjudication services
for pharmacy claims.
ACCEL BPO's intent is to leverage the customer base
we develop for data capture services as a platform to
enhance our service offerings incrementally up the value
chain, into other areas of insurance claims processing.
